Dr. Man Bahadur Bishwakarma has done his PhD on "Social Inclusion in Microfinance" in 2010 from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. He did postgraduate in Social Studies from the 'SS, Netherlands (2004), MA Economics (2000) and MBA Financial Management (1991) from Tribhuvan University. He also completed diploma course on Agricultural Cooperative Management (1997) from Institute for the Development of Agricultural Cooperation in Asia (IDACA), Japan. He has been visiting faculty member in various colleges since 2005, written a dozen text books for college students and several books on development issues including Social Inclusion in Microfinance, Dalits in Federalism and Status of Child Labour and involved in several researches. He is the founding chief editor for 'Dalit Solidarity- the quarterly English bulletin and 'Jana Utthan'-a monthly magazine. He has a long working experience with different international development agencies such as GIZ, Save the Children-US, UNICEF, CWS-UK and UNDP. He served as an Expert Member (2006-2008) for the National Cooperative Development Board of Nepal Government. He is the life member of Fulbright Alumni Association of Nepal (FAAN). He has completed his post-doctoral research entitled 'Enhancing Food Security to the Deprived Groups' as a Fulbright Visiting Scholar (2016/17) at Brandeis University, Waltham, Ma.
