Penelope has broken Smudger's bike and he wants revenge. Natty overhears a plan to kidnap Penelope, Smudger wants ransom money to pay for the bike. Natty and magic pony Ned are on red alert. Then something happens that leads them on a dangerous night-time rescue mission through the snow.
