The book Vigyan Bhairav Tantra, also named as The Book of Secrets by Osho presents 112 unique methods of meditation to make the mind calm and quiet.
The Vigyan Bhairav Tantra was originally given by Lord Shiva to Goddess Parvati. Osho has explained each of these 112 methods with examples and stories which makes it easy to understand as some people may find the original texts a bit confusing. Each of this technique is followed by a lesson on question & answers, where Osho answers the questions asked by his followers on the commentary given by him.
Below are some of the 112 techniques, however just reading the technique without understanding the details of it and without the proper explanation you will not be able to practice it. Hence it is recommended that you buy the book and study each technique properly before practicing it.
Many of the techniques are based on working with the breath to control the wandering mind, some techniques are based on concentration on the Sushumna nadi or sensations or sound etc. However, the focal point of all the techniques is that all the techniques need a lot of concentration to succeed.
