The Little Prince

The little prince is one of the most popular and widely translated classics written for children and grown-ups. While trying to repair his crashed Aeroplane in the middle of the Sahara desert, an Airman meets a little boy-the little prince-originally an inhabitant of asteroid b-612 where he would diligently remove small baobabs as soon as they appeared, and where he has left behind three volcanoes and a rose. Before reaching Earth, he visits other planets and meets a string of oddballs: a king, a Conceited man, a drunkard, a lamplighter, a geographer... An enjoyable read on the little prince's intergalactic travels, this book is also a deep reflection on human nature.
