The Khasa Kingdom

This book brings to light the struggle of non-Aryans who entered the Indian subcontinent from the north west around the first millennium BC & settled as the chief inhabitants of the north-western mountainous region. During the early medieval period they established a grand kingdom known as Khasadesa, the Khasha Kingdom. Dr Adhikary examines how these Buddhist warriors later played a prominent role in the unification of Nepal.
