Night Passage

After a broken marriage kicks his drinking problem into orbit and the LAPD drop him from their ranks, Jesse Stone's future looks bleak. When a small Massachusetts town called Paradise hires him as their police chief, he is understandably shocked - until it becomes apparent that Paradise is anything but and a washed-out cop is just what they need to turn a blind eye to the nest of corruption and violence buzzing beneath its surface.
