The Author Angela Dietrich lived in Nepal for five years mainly in the Kathmandu valley. Whilst studying the different people of the region she took a great interest in their culinary abilities with the limited resources at hand.
Nepalese Vegetarian and Health food Recipes was the outcome of this study. The varied fare she has covered in this book is not only representative of the Newaris of Kathmandu but of the other ethnic groups found in Nepal.
She has provided us with a variety of Appetizers, Main dishes and Sweets. All mouth watering and a pleasure to eat.
