Jesus Christ, as we all know today, was born as John the Baptist and his birth was prophesied by an angel of Lord, Gabriel. Jesus, regarded as the embodiment of the best qualities in human nature, is the central figure of Christianity which views him as the Messiah foretold in the Old Testament.
