Hobson Jobson

Containing a complete compendium of words and expressions commonly used throughout India, this title contains the clearest definitions of these words still in use long after the departure of the British Raj from India. Taken from many sources this book has attempted to encompass all words introduced by the French, Portugese and Dutch colonists during their various sojourns in the sub continent.
