Drood

While travelling to London by train, Charles Dickens, at the height of his popularity, finds his life changed when the train jumps the rails and plummets into the marsh below. Dickens helps the maimed and dying but from then on his personality visibly darkens. He begins stalking the underbelly of London, was it for research, or something sinister?
